This is the second model I have painted in about a month. This is one of the swordsmen from my Hell Dorado starter set.

Aright guys, here we go and the first pics of my Ogre army are up and running! I would like to say that I waited for Swearing Dave’s cult of followers/stalkers to stop flooding the server with emails or that him spanking me like a biatch with his new Top Dave status on the gaming table; I would have had this up earlier. But the pressure is on and I have to pull my head in!
Hi guys, this is the start of hopefully many blabberingly boring blogs for my Podhammer Ogre Army. Firstly a huge thanks to everyone who contributed towards this project. A grand total of $450 was raised and there are just too many people to name, though I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how much it has lifted me back onto that horse. BUT your job isn’t over just yet; I would love constructive criticism along the way and for you to bear with me in times of nuttiness.
So while I wait for the remainder of the minis to arrive and post up images for what I have install for this army, I have included my thoughts that go through my head when deciding to start, prepare and construct an army. Hope you enjoy!!
This is the first post in a series covering my new army project. As I mentioned on previous podcasts, I am putting together a Araby themed army using the Empire and Dogs of War rules.
I am a big fan of Frank Millers Graphic novel and movie “300″ so I want this army to be similar in apperance to the Persian hordes. As you can see the colours are very drab in an attempt to emulate Frank Millers imagery.
This miniature is the first model painted. The army will primarily be made out of Black Tree miniatures. Characters and other bits and peices will come from the Hell Dorado Sarrasins range.
Let me know what you think

Direct from the Cry Havoc news letter:
Last week we presented the new Rackham Legends® range. A range that will offer painters and hobbyist exclusive limited edition miniatures that require assembling and painting! Time has come to unveil the first reference of the range: BELIAL
Pre-orders for this miniature are already possible on the Rackham-Store !
Limited to 600 casts, it comes with two possible heads and two possible weapons. Belial is an impressive both in scale and detail. He will be first released as part of the Rackham Legends® range. He will later be available painted and assembled along with the Houses of Acheron.Belial´s characteristics are available on the official Confrontation forum .
Beware of the beast, Belial is an exceptional piece with exceptional characteristics. Keep the kids and pregnant women away from it. We can promise there will be blood and tears. Do not hesitate to send your feedback and battle reports!
This isn’t quite Warhammer related but wouldn’t this thing make an awesome Keeper of Secrets?

This is a Confrontation miniature called Varghar from the Wolfen faction. I decided to use this as my Vargulf for my Vampire Army just becasue I like to be different.
This model is an absolute beast and I think fits the rules for a Vargulf quite well.

*The Dreaded Black Knights of Mousilon
With the new book only days away my Vampire army has been dragged out of its hiding place and is being prepared for battle. So I thought I would put some photos of my army on my Flickr Gallery.
The army is themed around the cursed city of Mouslion in Brettonia. So everything is based on Brettonian Equivalents

It seems Rackham will continue to support their metal figure range…sort of
From Tabletop Gaming News :
Word from Jean Bey on the Rackham English forum appears to confirm that Rackham will continue to produce metal figures and that they will be available from Fantasy Flight Games.
From their website:
Regarding the metal miniatures: we have some stocks, we have the moulds, we can continue casting our range, we can create our masters and our metal moulds if needed. So metal minis will remain available without C3 stats cards, but remain available. What I told previously it’s simply that we will no more produce huge production quantity as before.
I made the switch from Photobucket to Flickr for my photos. I have also finnally taken some photos of some of my Wood Elves. My latest project is the Woldwarden that are being used as Treekin.
Check out the gallery here
I purchased some of these guys to represent Treekin in my Wood Elf army. They are known as a WoldWarden from the HORDES game. (they have some great figure so check them out) I painted one of them and they look awesome (photos coming soon).
I want to model one so that it is emerging from a swamp draped in seaweed and other water plants but i am not sure how to go about it. Do you have any ideas how I should go about it?
