There have been many highlights in Podhammers 3 year history. This episode may be at the top of the list. I am pleased to present episode 67, an interview with famous (or is that infamous?) games designer ALESSIO CAVATORE.
If you don’t know who this is, flip to the front of just about every Warhammer/40k/LOTR book written in the last 10 years. Many of them will have his name written there.
Alessio Cavatore has shaped the face of our game for the last decade. He took the time to chat with us about his time with GW and what he is currently working on.
Kendall and I sound like absolute fanbois who are too nervous to put a complete sentence together, but it was still an incredible experience and I hope you enjoy listening as much as we did making it.
Make sure you check out Alessio’s current project SHURRO at RIVER HORSE GAMES

My favorite show yet, PodHammer just gets better with age.
Amazing episode. I wonder how many episodes of Podhammer Alessio has listened to, he sounds like a great person.
SWEETNESS! THANK YOU JEFF…ER THANK YOU ALESSIO!
yeah and thanks Kendall….
That was a flawless episode from start to finish!
Nothing wrong with this episode. It was a good listen.
Great show guys. I think you definitely did such a big interview justice!
You guys gave a great interview …..don’t be so harsh on yourselves! This is a great podcast that keeps getting better!
Alessio was a true gentleman.
love what you guys do and you do it really well, to be honest you make all the other warhammer podcasts sound shitty, bad for them, good for you.
im looking at getting involved in the tournament scene over here in the UK now thanks to you guys, cheers
Interesting that Alessio Cavatore suffer under the same delusion Gav Thorpe suffers under: that it is somehow impossible to write rules clear enough to make “rolling a d6″ uneccessary…
Whoops, that sentence looks like it was written by a seven-year old. Note to self: less cut & paste when writing comments that can’t be edited.
I’ll agree with the others, you guys did an excellent interview, Alessio sounded like he had fun and was interesting to listen to. Good job to both Jeff and Kendall…. I prob would have just stared at him.
