Hey nerds It’s Podhammer time, and Kendall and Phill join me to talk the shit out of some warhammer! We cover some of the big monsters we have to deal with these days. We also interview Bobo about his new project UNSEEN LERKER
We still have dice extra dice in the store! Special Discount for Inner Circle/Dice Combo! podhammer.net/store

Hey Jeff,
Great show as always! If you are still looking for a program for your Mac to do your podcast, have a look at Soundtrack Pro. I use it everyday at work for audio recording and you can do really amazing things with it fairly easily. It’s probably one of the best in the business for getting rid of background noise as well as pops and clicks.
I hope this helps
.

Sweet, new Podhammer. Just so you know, the UNSEEN LURKER link is broken
Hey mark…..is soundtrack part of the FINAL CUT package, its $1500 and I dont really want all the extra video stuff
Is there anyway to get soundtrack by itself?
Jeff,
Yes, Soundtrack is a part of the Final Cut studio. However, you can purchase it separately as well either at a local Mac retailer or from Apple’s website. I believe the cost is roughly around $200-250.
I cant seem to find the link to Soundtrack on the apple store…Its in the Logic Studio bundle aswell but I cant find the stand alone product…..can you email the link…I will love you long time
damn has my wishlisting for moving the magic phase before the movement seriously reached this quality podcast somewhere between bestiality and beastmen supermodels…
I started it becouse everyone said the surge spell was utter crap, this seemed like a quick fix to make it better.
Hey Jeff,
http://www.apple.com/ca/press/2005_04/soundtrack_pro.html
On that page near the bottom there is something that mentions Soundtrack Pro being sold stand alone for $349 CDN in May of this year from the apple store.
I thought it was out this month but I guess it’s May. Oops.
Hopefully you are able to get this in May. It is a fantastic Audio editing tool – One I couldn’t imagine editing without.
There doesn’t seem to be any listing of it as stand alone on their site, but I’m sure if you call their customer service number they will sell it to you on its own.
I can’t see any reason why they wouldn’t.

Sorry for the triple post – can’t edit my old ones
, But if apple sais ‘no’ for some reason, you might want to look at Audacity. It’s a free 16 track audio recording and editing software for Mac. It’s not as in depth as Soundtrack Pro, but it may get you by.
If nothing else you can try it out to see how you like it. Free is Free afterall
.
I know of audacity – its where it all started for me. It doesnt have enough editing features that I need to produce the quality that we put out.
I plan on using audacity for the moment to record on the mac and then chuck it on a USB and edit it in soundforge on my PC. – For now
