It was the dodgy praise to sigmar at the begining of the show that caused your tech issues. By mocking sigmar he placed a curse.

Even with the glitches it was still a great show. Just wondering if you have some free time in a show in the future whether you could cover the detachments again?
Detachments in terms of how to use them, what units to take with which etc.

Anyways great show

As I'm currently slowly starting up with WHFB Empire after a pause of some 14 years(I left both WHFB and 40k in disgust after a lot of frustration when Herohammer was rearing its ugly head and the rules and balancing never seem to get any better, back in the early-to-mid 1990s) I was really looking forward to this episode. Thus it was rather frustrating that the Episode 54 recording is so garbled. Yes, you can make out the gist of it, but it is often quite painful to lsiten to, and some of it makes little to no sense (the entire artillery section, for one) unless one already knows what you and Gav are talking about. Is it possible to clear this episode up further or is the extra audio irrevocably lost? It would be great to listen to the episode in the way it was intended...especially since I guess it will be some time before you do an Empire review again...

On a moore cheery note, good job on the podcast! While none of GW's big games come close to what I have found, rules-wise, in Privateer Press' Warmachine/Hordes game, Podhammer has definitely been a big part of renewing my interest in WHFB.

Great show for a new empire player like myself, much appreciated guys! As you said, a wee bit of info is lost from 41 mins or so on, but they are minor glitches and largely everything makes sense.
Any chance of a posting of Gavins ETC list, by the way?
And I`d like to say kudos to Jeff for being so open about the fundraising topic and male mental health - good on you.
