1. Palmer. Dry your eyes emo, your mascara is running. Cannons are random beasts and for the record in the 12 games I have had against your Dark Elves I have killed your Hydra once. 2 cannons are fine for the points I would trade them in for dark elf repeater bolt throwers any day.
2. The 2 special slots for the empire are hard work and it depends on what you want to achieve. I run a volley gun with the outriders on a flank and with all that lead not much gets through but if I wanted more flex take two units of 6 Pistoleers with Outrider champ with repeater pistol. IC while good and trust me I do want to run them I have found that if you run a big unit of Core knights with Full Cmd a war banner and put your warrior priest in here it will give that unit the rerolls to hit on the first turn. Greatswords are pooh.
3. Giants are politically incorrect and get shot to bits. if you have dogs of war take dualists to protect you cannons but best is take the volley gun and the second unit of Flagellants.
4. Huntsmen are awesome and should never be left at home.
5. I take off my riding glove and slap Palmer in the face and call him out for a challenge. best of three chaos v empire
