My advice for the move: Once the computer, electronics and the minis are safely over, just slug the rest in without a worry.

Do you know how hard it is to listen to your show at work in headphones and not burst out laughing and look like a weirdo? Keep up the show and good luck with the move.

They were aimed at the podhammer guys of course, not you.
Can’t take a joke? Shit. There’re jokes and there’re jokes.
Comments like “Hey I hate fags too!” isn’t something I want to hear in a podcast. Even though it warns me against rough language and offensive remarks. I have nothing against rough language and such.
But you really come across as homophobic swines. And I’m so tired of straight guys shit-talking gay guys.
Not the kind of people I want to listen to.
You didn’t listen very well then. That was a direct quote spoken TO Dave Palmer, not by him, and not by the hosts.
Where’s the uproar over the red-head slurs! He called me a yank!

Besides; its the Aussie guy tradition; to be anti-gay yet when in a room full of Australian males the gay jokes and inneuendo comes out – its not homophobic when the guys themselves say things that could be construed… weird (ie Dave Palmer when talking about massacring a guy in Fantasy; “my balls were sitting atop his a** cheeks” – If thats not gay I dont know what is!)
Christ…some people take things waaaaay to seriously. Jeff, I still enjoy Podhammer and all its content.
Oh yeah, it’s all fun and we should all just keep our mouths shut, or, preferably, laugh along with those who, for some reason, find homophobic “jokes” funny.
Therefore, I’d like to ask you where do you stop then? What is the border you are unwilling to cross, what exactly do you consider unacceptable? Would you keep laughing when someone started insulting your religion, your way of life, your family, or something that is just plainly a sensitive issue? I bet not…but oh wait, you’re teh laid-back guyz, not taking it seriously.
Honestly, arguments like “it’s a tradition to make fun of gays” and “you take it way too seriously” are signs of extreme lack of empathy and tolerance. Or are you telling me that racially and ethnically motivated “jokes” are OK too? Because I don’t even need to look that far into history to see where such “hate-jokes” have gotten us.
I know that particular line was a quote.
But the fact it’s a quote doesnt change the fact that it’s a very tasteless, homphobic content in the podcast. And it said “I hate fags TOO” sais something about the guy it was directed at doesnt it?
Episode 46 wasnt nice at all either. I really prefer Heelanhammer and Worlds end radio. Those people actually come across as nice people I could enjoy hanging out with. I have nothing against rough language and a cruel joke or two. But you’re just tasteless, arrogant and unsettling.
I really don’t enjoy podhammer anymore.

If you have only just started listening to the show then you should have taken the warning at the beginning more seriously, unless you enjoy being upset… If you have listened to a while now then you know what you’re getting – again with the unless you enjoy being upset. No one’s forcing you to listen to it, you yourselves know there are other podcasts out there.
Why harass the rest of us instead of just going and listening to those?
Each to their own and free speech and all that. Also, this isn’t some bloody high school debating forum… *jeeez*

I’m kinda sitting on the fence now as well. Podhammer used to be alot more interesting.
Now we just get to hear about Jeff’s (lack of) sex life and other miscellaneous information.
I think it would be nice if the B team did an episode every other week. Anyone else want to hear them again as well?

Yes Jeff is arrogant (I’ve told him so before), tasteless, and makes gay jokes – so what! It’s HIS show and he should be free to speak about what he wants. You don’t like it, don’t listen. For the homo-sexual listeners, when a straight guy makes a gay comment, it’s usually light hearted (even if it sounds severe). Don’t change Jeff, it’s why you’ve been my fave Podcast since the beginning. Maybe you should change the name of Podhammer to Gayhammer – get it
if you offended by the content then DON’T listen. the old howard stern mantra comes into play very nicely here.
the best podhammer episodes are when the topic is ignored and they go off on a 20 minute tangent about real life situations. this recent podcast ranks up there in my top 5 easily.

Oh well, I thought I could resist reading all those perfectly predictable answers, but alas, here we go…
Guys, you don’t get it. It’s not about any listener’s sexual orientation, it’s about principle. Just over the corner, we have jokes about women, about nationality, about anything. The thing is, these are equally offending, and any grown up aware of the social issues and respective of other people would be thoughtful enough to refrain from saying them.
Jeff, it used to be a lot of fun, and thanks for the good time I had with some of the early episodes. I am done with Podhammer; thankfully, there is a plethora of much better Warhammer podcasts out there I can listen to instead.
