hi jake here love the show keep it up woudering if u could give me some tips with my dwarfs army thanks
I love the international shows. It’s something that really makes your show different from many of the others with the exception of TWIW.
Or of course Words from Wales on the d6 G?
The ETC sounds awful, defensive Warhammer playing, not in the spirit of the game at all,
Concentrate in your next game… I should have listened to this podcast before I played you the other night…
I have to say the strategy of playing to draw a game while not unknown in team events other than ETC is still something I find shocking. Who in their right mind wants to go to another country to play Warhammer and end up as the guy who has to try and draw games for the team?
Besides that Skype problems were minimal which was good, keep up the good work Jeff but you really need to get some more of the Newie boyz back on
Your misunderstanding. Think of it like any other team based tournament in any game.
Say your team is playing 5 games a round, of all 5 go all out, some could win, some could lose, its all very average.
Instead the captain uses the match up system to try and set up 1-2 favourable match ups his team can win, at the same time some unfavourable match ups are inevitable. Those guys have to play for a draw, it helps the teams overall score than throwing the game due to risky moves trying to win an unfavourable army match up.
The into song, it made no sense at all. Is it some redneck in the US singing? If someone can tell me the artists name I would greatly appreciate it.
The intro song was “Over There”, written by Jonathan Coulton but covered here, I think, by the Belgian band Cedric.
Another good episode, btw.
