When I started my VC army 3 years ago I wanted to find a place for the reliquary – it’s such a great model. With the new 7th Edition rules the corpse cart is the perfect place to use this model.
My plan was to convert this more however all it required was a undead skin tone on the ghouls. I added the brazier of flame to give the impression that the guy on the back is alive and commanding the pilgrims.
We are adding pics of our armies all the time to the Inner Circle. To discuss these pics and check out others including my Wraiths and Daves enitre Chaos and Vampire army sign up to the Inner Circle today!

Looks very cool jeff… you should be brave though, and try some simple lighting effects from the flame.
cheers

Looks good, Jeff, but this is nowhere near “undead” as a proper corpse cart should be. The pilgrims still look like pilgrims (more like Chaos pilgrims, though), and the reliquary still looks like a reliquary.
IMO this would better suit a WoC army as some sort of model rather than the VC.
But Jeff’s Vamps are that king of Brettoinian army, and after seeing his army in the WD, I think that it will go very nicely into your VC army. I think it is a neat idea, good job.
Is the flame also to represent the corpse cart upgrade which I cannot think of the name at the moment?
Z:i totally agree with sirrus , it looks dark O:bretonia or chaos not undead, surround in M:zombies!!!!!!, if it displaces some zombies in B:a unit then gd, zombies oh did i mention I:zombies, i love zombies, argh dark elf with E:zombies, space marine zombies HA HA HA HA
How the hell is that a corpse? Do you get away with that at tournaments?
The idea is that the skeleton on the back is reanimated and commanding the pilgrims.
And of coarse its allowed in tournaments you would have to be retarded not to work out what it is if you saw it in a VC army
