Hey guys, well it has been a wait between updates but truth is I haven’t had much time to do anything, with the exception of this past weekend. While trying to figure how this army is progressing aesthetically, I have decided to take Mr. Shrek’s advice, ‘LAYERS’!!
I have decided to hold off on the tattoos and markings on the models until the end where I can see what the models/theme is actually missing. This also led me to the conclusion that the bases were to be applied after painting the ogres. This not only allows me to undercoat the bases black but will speed up the painting process. I have included a few pics of the last 7 bulls that will make up my 2 units of 4 bulls.* I’m not to alarmed that they look fairly plain, because as the layers build up (scenic bases, tattoos, spites etc) they will create detail and contrast to the figures.
Today I have started to put my gnoblar units together (see Part 3 picci for overall idea) I’m really excited about these little critters as they have so much character. I have glued together 4 back-2-basix forest bases and used a GW scenic tree as the centre piece for the little critters to scatter throughout.
If you got any suggestions let me know. The Podhammer Boyz will be down the weekend after next to play my first games with these new ogres and talk about how the army is progressing on the podcast. So stay tuned till then.

Lovin the feral look of these units, there arent enough wolfen/ wolf like figures in the gw range, so these minatures look awesome.

Dude! These are soooooo cool. My friend and I were planning on making a codex for werewolves but had trouble finding any models. Mind if I ask where you got them?

The minis are from the Confrontation range of Rakham. The french definately have the best sculptors in the world.
