Just listened to this. Along with episode 18 this has to be one of my favourites. I love the atmopshere of the “gamers around a table having a chat” podcasts. This is what we all do at gaming clubs, at the pub, at tournaments and is very easy to relate too.
Cheers for the mention despite pronuncing my name wrong! (I’ll let you off noone gets it right first time…)

It constantly amuses me that you guys keep going on about how WHFB is a very tactical and balanced game and that the better general with balanced army will win, but then go off about cheesy, unbeatable lists
Now I’m still a FB noob, but when I loose, it feels like I just don’t have the right units in my army or because I very slightly misjudged range or facing angles
Is it just me, or is the music behind the “total wargamer” advert strangely similar to porn music?
Top five movies was awesome. I’m gunna check out Ninja Scrolls.
Heres my list

2. Star Wars Series IV-VI(Classic Hero’s quest)
3. Dragonheart (Sean Connery is a dragon. Come on)

5. The Graduate
6. This is only 6 cause like you said it’s not out yet. Iron Man.
davs list is hard and goes for the power unit which wins the battle BUT it has the bonus of being unbreakable, raisable, regen and fear causing.
i think it is cheesy it just isnt cheesy in the way people are used to VC being (loads of PD, regen, GG, weapon skill hat, loads of raising)
(btw the totalwargamer ad music does sound like its from a porn flick=P)

“Miscast”…”miscast”….”miscast” AHAHAHA! I love it. like i said in the other thread, You guys were being absolutely BRUTAL on Dave, its a hard list for sure, theres no denying that, but i wouldn’t consider it cheezy either, definately not worth the 30-40 minutes yoou spent attakcing it as funny as that was, I’d most likely give it a 3 in a tourny.

also I loved the throw davy under the bus song and I was in public when I listened to it, and I had a couple people ask me if I was okay because I was laughing so hard
I cant claim credit for the under the bus song. I just ripped it off another podcast called “Nobody Like onions” (nobodylikesonions.com)
