Used them before, they have a great service, everyone should check them out!!
This is great. I’m still new to the Hobby, and though I feel I paint rather well, I and very good at the basing. Definately going to renew my motivation to convert some more ^_^
Totally agree m8! I ordered some last month for my Infinity Pan’O. They come up nicely. Highly recomended indeed!
Reckon White Lions would model well onto their forest themed bases?
James: Defnately mate, got any plans for the rest of the army?
Well, High Elves are my first army, and so the rest of my army are just goblin greened/flocked. To that extent, they would stick out like a sore thumb. Still, I don’t really go to tournaments (despite Jeff’s podcast on the UK scene, I’m not convinced that fate hasn’t ripped me off by putting me here as opposed to Australia where the gamers are friendly and it actually gets sunny), and so I wouldn’t have any problems with creating an army that wasn’t all based the same. It’d be nice to have one unit that was based really nicely.
My main concern was that the forest bases quite frequently had large tree stumps on them – not sure if the models would actually fit on those? I was planning to do a unit of 12 (FC), and the bases come in sets of five, so I could afford to not use the three most difficult ones.
The forest bases are not the best for rank and file units.
I suggest for White Lions that you use the dirt ones. Or keep the forest ones but save the one with the big log on it for a champion or a unit of shadow warriors.
Just based up 60 space marine scouts on the slate selection.
They look fantastic, really adds dynamism to their pose, too.
