Warhammer Legendary Battles

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

hammerlogo.jpg

As part of the celebration of 25 Years of Warhammer fantasy, Games Workshop has released rules to play games of 5000pts or more.

Highlights include rules for Monstrous Hordes (6 Stegadons for a single rare choice? – OOOH YEAH!)

Rules can be downloaded from the Games Workshop site

(It appears Games Workshop have removed the rules pack from their site. I guess you will have to buy the April White Dwarf!)

p.s. If anybody downloaded it send me a copy.

I just check the US iTunes store and was pleasantly surprised to find 50 reviews! iTunes reviews help bring the show to new listeners as they influence Podhammers place in the featured podcast section of iTunes. So a big thanks to everybody who took the time to leave a one.

To those who haven’t yet left a review why not leave one now?

Jeff

A new wargaming podcast has come online. Ross, Raef and Craig are the hosts of the wargaming podcast “The D6 Generation”. The show covers a wide range of games from GW, Privateer Press(warmachine), board games and even computer game topics.

They have released 2 episodes so far, the first of which is in 2 parts (1a & 1b). Its a really good show with clever and entertaining discussion about some great topics.

Varghar = Vargulf

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

Varghar

This is a Confrontation miniature called Varghar from the Wolfen faction. I decided to use this as my Vargulf for my Vampire Army just becasue I like to be different.

This model is an absolute beast and I think fits the rules for a Vargulf quite well.

*The Dreaded Black Knights of Mousilon

With the new book only days away my Vampire army has been dragged out of its hiding place and is being prepared for battle. So I thought I would put some photos of my army on my Flickr Gallery.

The army is themed around the cursed city of Mouslion in Brettonia. So everything is based on Brettonian Equivalents

Check the gallery out here and let me know what you think
