Another great show Jeff. Glad to hear Dave “The Miscast Man” Palmer back on the show he cracks me up. Being an Orc player myself I know the pain of rolling poorly at the most critical times.
Just a comment on female gamers, my wife is a gamer she has a Bretonnia and a High Elf army. I also have a young daughter who I am already teaching (she’s 2) and I have a second daughter due at the end of March who will be raised to play as well. So I’m doing my part to help increase the female presence in the game. Even if it’s going to be about 13yrs before they are old enough to play in tournaments.
Great episode Jeff.
Congratulations on the top WE finish. Its a shame people are so sensitive, as I have to agree with Munji, it’s amusing listening to swearing Dave Palmer.
Great show again, love the doomed caster. Roll on the UN.
What are your thoughts on painting scores in gaming tourneys? should they have a significant effect?
From now on you can only refer to swearing Dave Palmer as MR Miscast; I might try and make a theme tune for him if I can find the right software.
Plus it’s nice to hear you’ve moved on from a beardy treeman ancient in your Wood elf list, to a War alter in your planned Empire list. As you said in the palmercast, you like those Cheesy lists. Good for you
