There is something I don’t understand about the rumor that daemons is after Undead.
If they release a daemons army, then you would have three chaos army books, one of which contains updated info about another one. WOuld they put a slip of paper in the daemons book saying “use these rules for your hordes army book”??? It would make more sense to just release the Hordes Book again, or all 3 at once as a box set.
Maybe I dont understand the economics behind it, but I do agree that bloodletters should be T4, and for years I have said that that is probably the silliest thing in warhammer. Tough as an elf, but built like a hoss cat.
hiya guys, gotta say that one method for taking down the old treeman ancient combo (or treeman in general) is to use a level 4 wizard and choose with lore of shadows to get Pit of Shadoes (prefferably with the fairly common occuring +1 spell item to increase the chance of getting it) – its one of the best spells in the game (albeit a high casting cost).
Try and suck out the compulsory dispel scrolls people take and launch this baby at the barky old git!
just an idea if you hate treemen
- Beanz
@ Dangerous Beanz: I think you missed the part in the episode before last when I was playing Jeff at a tourny and his treeman ancient passed his test 2 turns in a row with the pit of shades
Love the pope mobile. This is my favorite lord option. I typically field a larger proportion of warrior priests or lectors than most empire armies. They’re just marvously usefull, with boundspells, combat abiltiy, dispell dice and hatred, the war altar is the only chariot we have, and what a chariot it is!!!!!!
Does Pit of Shades require line of sight? Most of the time, my Woodelf opponent “Tree Surf’s” into my lines while using said forest to block LOS.
yeah mate, you need LOS for pit of shades.
