Hey Jeff,
Great show. I really liked the part where you gave us painting tips on how to complete an army. Really timely for me as I’m a person who prefers to play with grey minis whilst working on the perfect paint job. I’m going to send you an email later with my completed Wood Elf Lord.
Jeff,
Just wanted to say thanks for another great show and thanks for answering so quickly about my Dogs of War question. After hearing this podcast about your two Treeman Ancient list, I have another question. In your opinion, would you find a list running multiple treemen still cheesy/beardy if it was in a themed context, such as a Forest Spirit list, with Treekin and Dryads only. Or would it be better to just run an extra squad or two of the smaller spirits and keep it at one Treeman.
Thanks again,
Josef
@ Josef,
I think it is still a very effective army with pure forest spirits. You arent sacrificing any strength for the theme. So I think 2 treeman is always cheesy regardless of the list. I will say that I beleive a all forest spirit army would be very boring to play with as it only really participates in one phase of the game (movement)
Hi Jeff,
Love the podcast. I like the way you have varied each episode and there is always something in there that is interesting to me. Much better than 9 copies of white dwarf!
I have one question that is bugging me. Why do you guys pronounce ‘treeman’ like it is a surname, like lieberman. Like his name is John Treeman.
Isn’t it tree-man, like spider-man, super-man, or bat-man?
Maybe it’s an aussie thing!
Keep up the good work!
Demetri
@Demetri: Yeah us aussies are too lazy to break up the pre-nunc-ia-tion of words.

@ Demetri:
I never thought about it before. Its funny because we say spiderman as spider-man same with Bat-man.
Merry Xmas Jeff,
Yeah in the UK we say Tree-man just like spider-man and bat-man. After all it is a descriptive term rather than a christian name…
Unless Jeff you have named your model….something like Phil Treeman?
Have a good new year!
Demetri
