I purchased some of these guys to represent Treekin in my Wood Elf army. They are known as a WoldWarden from the HORDES game. (they have some great figure so check them out) I painted one of them and they look awesome (photos coming soon).
I want to model one so that it is emerging from a swamp draped in seaweed and other water plants but i am not sure how to go about it. Do you have any ideas how I should go about it?
Is this for tournament play?
In the UK GW do not allow non-GW models into their tourneys.

GW GTs are such a minor event in Australia that it is easily skipped if its a problem. However I have taken non GW stuff in the past to GTs and had no problem. They would probably take issue if the whole army was made from another range.
You know it’s kind of odd. It’s almost as if a treekin was armored by a dwarf. I rather like it.
Wow, nice find. There are a lot of really nice looking models over there. Are unpainted models? Lot of nice stuff for ogres over there, I think I see my Gorger ^_^

To make the figure look wet, fill a small spritzer with water and give a little shot. For the seaweed and water plants, I’m not quite sure. Maybe you should try real seaweed cut into small pieces.
I don’t know what I think of it. I’m in between odd and cool. It looks futuristic in a like it’s super powerful. Intimidation to enemies! You should use it unless it’s illegal to use in a tournament
