Hey, thought you might like a "newer" banner for the site.

I whipped this up for you, yours to use as you wish:

I could even tailor it more, if you like.

Cheers,

Great show!

Just one comment to make, can you please explain some of the jargon you use as I'm a new player and don't understand most of the high-level terms being thrown around.

What's BSB for example?

Anyway, go wood elves!

Good show, I enjoy it and you have a good "radio" voice.

A couple things...

I noticed a few rough audio cuts in there, what kind of software are you editing the show on? It wasn't really a problem per-say, but it was noticeable. Otherwise the audio quality is pretty good, although during your interview your guest's audio sounded quiet in comparison to yours... Almost like a single mic set up. Also during that segment I heard something touch the mic a couple times.

None of those really impacted my enjoyment of the show, but it might help you iron out a few minor bugs and make the show a "cleaner" production.

A good show.
My main comments:
- Don't play the theme song through most of the show (you could have it a bit between segments, but don't over use it)
- The news introduction is a bit overdone- if you want to leave it that way I'd try and use someone else's voice rather than just repeatedly distorting your own
- I like the WE focus, but don't expect everyone else to- interview long term players of other armies (the tournament should be great for this)

If you're not opposed to forums I'd suggest looking at The Lost Glade (you should be able to find a link via warvault if google doesn't work). Asrai.org is also good, but a little too large for my taste.

Hi, I have been collecting Warhammer Fantasy (even a little 40k) for some time, and currently own the Vampire Counts, Empire, Chaos, Skaven, Dark Elves, and Ogre kingdoms forces. My main force being Vampire Counts, I would just like to add a bit to the end of you podcast.

Personally, I would never choose to use Grave Gaurds in and game under 3k. In all seriousness they are overly priced, They are slow, and a great target for enemy missle fire.

I play a strong Von Carstein theme, with the Aura to keep me mobile. In any other Undead army, your units move really slow. And it makes them hard to advance agianst shooting armys. And especially Wood Elves.

Also in one of the podcasts you said that Wood elves have no heavy melee troops that can cause serious damage. What about Treekin? Sure they are not Wardancers...

Finnally, I would like to add that I absolutely love listening to the rumours section. This is interesting stuff, I would like to see more pictures of the stuff your find much like the Swordmaster images.

Anyway, Good luck with this Jeff!

Loved the Wood Elf section! Looking forward to next weeks epp for the conclusion. You make a lot more sense than some of the other podcasts on Warhammer out there. That coupled with the very nice audio quality makes this a very easy podcast to listen to.....It does not sound like you are recording in the living room with no thought as to how your recording sounds to the person listening to it!

Love the show mate, keep up the good work!

Great job with the new episode! Having probelms with Chaos Dwarfs, eh? Seeing as they are my own army I'll give you a tip. They aren't Relentless like normal Dwarfs. Park some Wood Elf Scouts near your targets and the Chaos Dwarfs will move around at a snails pace!
