I have decided to collect a High Elf army when the new rules come out. From what I’ve seen so far there will be no replacement swordmaster models (which is a shame because they suck). I was browsing the Rackham site and stumbled on these guys.
Do you think they would make good Swordmasters?
I think they would make excellent swordmaster’s…except the one model with the axe, but you can always convert the things that not fit in the “image” of swordmaster’s.
Again, excellent poses very nice detailed armour and they give an overall dynamic feeling when you look at them….as swordmasters should give!
A mate of mine uses them in his Dogs of War army and where as they would make good Swordmasters, they are just slightly too big. I don’t know if it’s just the base he puts them on but in size they’re about the size of four Pikemen.
Now those are some impressive looking models, definately elven looking, definately sword masters.
