I kind of cheated with my mounted BSB for my Wood Elves. I had a mounted Wild Rider noble that I spent alot of time painting but have only ever used once, so I cut of his spear and stuck a Banner on from the Glade Guard sprue. I think it looks ok and I don’t have to paint a whole new model.
The other thing that I have decided to do is not to glue on the banner pole so if I ever do want to use him as a Wild Rider Noble again I’ll just slip a spear into his hand….Easy
